A longtime resident of Littleton, Colorado, Cindy Young has a unique understanding and empathy for individuals with special needs. This shines forth in her photography work. A mother of a teenage daughter with Down Syndrome herself, Cindy brings a refreshing approach and rare perspective to this underrepresented and often isolated community.

"Life" a body of work highlight the joys and isolation of Ava. Traditional B&W Film Darkroom Printed. These were shown in the Colorado Gallery of the Arts and The Sturm Campus of Arapahoe Community College
Numerous Special Olympics Colorado events - Bowling, Basketball, Track, and Swimming
Family photos including individuals with special needs, as well as high school senior photos, headshots, and documentary style photography
